What trails.bg is

trails.bg is a community platform where riders share enduro and MTB trail recordings (GPX tracks) for others to view on a map and download. It is provided as-is, for informational and recreational use.

Your account

You need an account to upload trails and to download GPX files. You must give accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create one.

To delete your account, email us at hello@trails.bg; we will action the request within the time the law allows.

Content you upload

You keep ownership of the trails and other content you upload. By uploading, you grant trails.bg a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and let other users download that content as part of running the service. This licence ends when the content is removed, except for copies we retain for moderation or backups.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload tracks you do not have the right to share, or that are false, misleading, or deliberately mislocated;
• upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, or content that endangers others;
• harass other users or misuse comments, ratings, or reports;
• attempt to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the site;
• use the site in any way that breaks the law.

We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms.

Ride at your own risk

Trails on trails.bg are shared by other riders and are not verified for accuracy, safety, or legality. Terrain, conditions, and access rules change. You are responsible for your own safety, for riding within your ability, and for checking that you are allowed to ride where a track leads.

Some areas are legally restricted. The site's protected-area overlay and notices are informational only and may be incomplete or out of date — always check the current rules before you ride. To the extent the law allows, trails.bg accepts no liability for loss, injury, or damage arising from use of the site or reliance on any trail.

Moderation

Uploads are reviewed before they appear on the map. We may approve, reject, edit visibility of, or remove any content, and act on reports, at our discretion — to keep the platform useful and lawful. We aim to be fair, but we make no guarantee that any particular trail will be published or kept.

Our rights

The trails.bg name, design, and software are ours (or our licensors'). Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors and our tile providers under their own licences, and their attribution must be kept intact.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, trails.bg is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Bulgarian law.

Changes, law, and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Bulgaria.
